In his 11 games in 2007, he completed passes for 1,732 yards and 13 touchdowns. As the Irish defeated Hawaii in the 2008 Sugar Bowl, Guidugli ended his time at Notre Dame on a high note. He was inducted into the Cincinnati Bengals Ring of Honor in 2015 and had 5,902 throwing yards and 45 touchdowns at the end of his time at Notre Dame. Guidugli made the switch from playing to coaching after his playing career, working as a graduate assistant at Notre Dame from 2009 to 2011. Before coming back to Notre Dame in 2016, he worked for four years as the quarterbacks coach at the University of Cincinnati.
